Frequently asked questions
What clients ask us most often
What is a vehicle ownership transfer?
It is the change of ownership: the procedure that registers the vehicle in the name of its new owner. We take care of it from start to finish.
I have sold my car. What do I need to do?
Notify the DGT of the sale. We process the notification of sale so that the transfer of ownership is correctly recorded.
I have lost my registration certificate. Can you obtain a duplicate?
Yes. We obtain duplicate registration certificates and technical inspection cards in case of loss, theft or damage.
What about a duplicate driving licence?
That too. We process duplicate driving licences in case of loss, theft or damage.
What is temporary deregistration?
It means taking the vehicle off the road for a period without deregistering it permanently. We explain whether it suits you and process it for you.
Do I have to go to the traffic office myself?
Not for the procedures we handle: you bring us the documents and we deal with the DGT on your behalf.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we work by appointment. You can request one by phone, by email or from the contact page of this website, so that we can give your case the time it needs.
Which languages do you work in?
We work in Spanish and Catalan: you can write to us, call us or visit the office in whichever of the two you prefer. This English version of the website is provided for information.
